You have a social evolutionary/revolutionary here.  Passionate about a lot of things.  But keenly aware that the patches of federal agencies such as DSHS just are too top heavy to work any more.  Not in the numbers we need to truly offer supports that wean people OFF the system.  Looks to me like  there will be a never ending flow of business for our social services as no one tells our kids that there could be options!  I would very much like to help birth one.  I have ideas/plans for an intentional community to that end.  Not big, in fact maybe a co-housing effort at first and then either sattelite houses or a full fledged community.  Be happy to share my thoughts with you.  Anyone out there also see the needs and have the vision?  Let's talk!
Am and do lots of other things as well.  But for here and now, I feel the calling to help our young adults.  They are our future and they deserve to have a life.
